The selection process for UP Special TET 2026 will be based on the Special TET Written Examination conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC).

• Written Examination: The examination will consist of 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) carrying a total of 150 marks.
• Examination Duration: The total time allowed will be 150 minutes (2 hours 30 minutes).
• Negative Marking: There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.
• Qualifying Marks: Candidates must obtain the prescribed minimum qualifying percentage according to their applicable category.
• Normalization: If the examination is conducted in multiple shifts, the Commission may apply normalization to the marks.
• Result: Candidates securing the required qualifying marks will be considered to have qualified the Special TET as per the applicable rules.

Important: UP Special TET is a Teacher Eligibility Test, not a direct recruitment examination. Qualifying the examination establishes TET eligibility; it does not by itself constitute appointment to a teaching post.

2. Read the official notification brochure and verify eligibility criteria before applying.
3. Click on the Apply Online link and complete the registration / OTR process.
4. Fill the online application form with personal, academic, and category details carefully.
5. Upload scanned copies of required documents, photograph, and signature in the prescribed format.
6. Pay the applicable application fee through online payment mode (Debit / Credit Card, Net Banking, UPI).
7. Verify all details in the preview page and submit the application form.
8. Download and print 2 copies of the final submitted application form for future reference.
