SSC CHSL Recruitment 2026 : Mode Of Selection
The SSC CHSL 2026 selection process will be conducted through the prescribed examination stages:
Tier-I Computer Based Examination- Tier-II Computer Based Examination
- Computer Knowledge Test
- Skill Test / Typing Test, as applicable
- Post/Department Preference
- Document Verification
- Final Post Allotment
Candidates are shortlisted for Tier-II on the basis of their performance in Tier-I. Normalized scores are used wherever applicable. The minimum qualifying marks prescribed are 30% for UR, 25% for OBC/EWS and 20% for all other categories.
Important: The final merit list/final selection is prepared on the basis of aggregate marks obtained in Section-I and Section-II of Tier-II, subject to qualifying the required sections of Tier-II. Final allotment is made according to merit and the post/department preferences submitted by candidates.
